Anyone have any successful advice for these guys? I did some research on them and decided to get one but he won't take any food from me... The guy at the fish store said he will eat the dried seaweed strips/algae. Iv tried those, brine shrimp, krill, flake food... He won't take any of it. What do you feed these guys?

Try pieces of fish and mussel.

are you talking about a serpent sea star or something like a fromia? if it's a serpent star, they are scavengers and will eat leftover fish food. fromias and the like are harder to keep, they feed on film algae that there isn't a lot of except in a very large, very established tank.
