Got this totally awesome little guy from an LFS last night. Need help ID'ing him.
My closest guesses so far are Synchiropus moyeri or Synchiropus morrisoni. Will need to get the money shot of his first dorsal fin flared up. Its huge, saw it for like half a second, alternating lines of black and yellow radiating outward. Problem is that doesn't match most of the pics I could find on moyeri or morrisoni. He's so bright red, its awesome.
P.S. - this is 100% not a red scooter blenny
