Red Table Lost Green

Airborne

What is the cause. I have them located at the 3/4 of the way up from the bottom. They are under an 8 bulb Tek T5 light fixture. At first they had a deep green, now the green is gone great growth but they look like Pink Pocilpora.

Too much light or not enough to get the green back?

Thx

I had a red mille that did this. The green came back when I lowered it a bit. Try it and see what happens.

Generally this is caused by too much light or the colony becomes very dense and only the red parts are showing.

I find this to be the case with my rommels watermellon acro. The tips of this coral are typically a deep red while the base is green, with my large colony, which has densely packed growth tips, it mostly shows red.

I have a frag of the same coral in a darker area of the tank, it has only a couple growth tips while the rest is encrusted over a large area, it is 95% bright green.
