redtop03's 360 gallon plywood adventure

Hmmmm.. I don't know :D 40x turnover is pretty low  I think you might need a few more Hammerheads and get that flow up to about 400x

I'm sure you can ditch the polario  Use it in your other tank that you'll set up when this one is finished

 I forgot,I still have the modded mj 1200's too....2100gph each

I paid too much for the polario to get rid of it,I don't have anywhere else to put another tank....my seahorse would have a time hanging on with it in there, but I ain't gonna get rid of,I'll find somewhere to use it.........I'll use it to mix saltwater or use it in the 20g to spin my chaeto  couldn't you see the water gushing over the side of the 20g

You can keep it in there to give it the back and forth motion.

I may do that for a while,I can turn it down and I can throttle the hammerhead back too,if I need to,I don't want to irritate my goniapora with too much flow,I also want a hammer coral in there too, which don't like excessive flow either....the whole purpose of getting the hammerhead was to get rid of the power head and the polario, but it seems like the more flow I have the better everything looks in there :D

here's my nozzles after paint :D

You did a great job on those nozzles. I think they look good.

thank you,I'm happy with 'em....

I hooked up the intake end of the Hammerhead this morning,I used the spaflex between it and the tank, hopefully to eliminate any vibrations.........stoned on PVC glue again

I know the feeling. You should have been under my stand with no ventilation for an hour. :D I was just sitting there staring into space before I snapped back to reality and realized what I was doing. I don't know how long I was doing that  Could have been a min. could have been 30

thank you....I may later try to make some freestanding structures,to go in my tank, but I'll probably not do the back wall now,I would like to make a cave like custom color has in his 125g......on the light grid,do you just use the wire ties to hold it together....no glue or anything like that ?

<a href=showthread.php?s=&postid=15579652#post15579652 target=_blank>Originally posted</a> by redtop03
that's simple enough......when the foam cures out it helps to hold it all together too, don't it ?
Yes when the foam is set up the panel have no bend to them unlike when it just egg create & wire ties the foam held so well to the rock on the first panel when I made the 2nd. panel I didn't wire tie some
of the smaller rocks .
