Reef Aquarium 1350 gallons in Bucharest

Ching was a great pleasure for me to meet you, your wife, Peak, Max and The Best. Thank you for your warm welcome, great wine and beautiful tank.
Is the best I've seen so far.
I already want to come back but this time I will wait for our friend Peter to join us.

Until then all the best to you and to your family!

Thank you!

Andy

Andy. You are always welcome.
Next time I look forward to seeing you, your family and Peter.
All the best.

andy I must say your rock work is amazing. I can't wait to see this project move forward and to see that rock work wet. Rockwork is an art form and really can make any size tank from zero to hero. Yours is awesome!!

Thank you very much Chago09!
It won't be long until I add the water. Hopefully this year...:bounce1:

....not chinese year :D

Great tank and awesome thread!

Hey do you guys know the cure time on the emaco s88 ci cement? I noticed this setup has been exposed to air for a period of time, but will it cure even more under water?

What's the overall cure time?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm ready for a photo update... before you post your kids graduation photos :) You need to post pics soon, before you get the traditional algae bloom.

Did you decide on your pumps?

Are you adding some temporary live rock to speed up coraline algae growth?

Did you try a shade cloth to raise the colour temperature of the Solatubes? Here are the links... http://www.signaturesupplyonline.com/

It should dry cure for at least 24 hours, but 28 days is ideal. I soak it in freshwater for 24 hours and change the water once or twice. Check PH regularly, but even a short term PH of 9 won't harm a new set-up. You can lower the PH with muriatic acid or Co2.

What is your PH Andy?

A truly amazing build. It was nice finding this thread near the end of the build so I can see the almost finished project. Unless I missed it, I did not see any reference to the controller you will be using for this system. I assume a Profilux, but, perhaps you are thinking of something else.

I just went through most of your thread and I love the rock work. So many people do the same thing with their aquascapes that its nice to see something different.

Im doing something similar in my measly 600g tank. My tank is 46" tall and I want do the rock all the way up like you did. Youre probably tired of hearing this but I cant wait to see this tank with water.
