Reef Brite XHO

Does anyone have experience or opinion on Reef Brite XHO lighting they'd be willing to share? :thumbsup: or :thumbdown ? Thx.

I haven't seen the XHO in action - I do have two of the regular Reefbrites in all blue - they are fantastic. One 48" lights up an entire 120. They add just the right amount of pop and blue to the 14K phoenix halides.

Thx Pascal, looking to go 100% LED. Maybe a WH, 50/50 and a BLUE. Do you think it'll be enough for a 4x2x2???

I've seen Pascals tank and he's right! Very nice! I've heard that the 50/50s come across a bit yellowish. I was thinking of adding some for supplements, but I found that report discouraging.

for going all LED I'm not sure I would use these. I know very little on LED lighting - though it seems to me having a distribution of colors is vital. the reefbrites are just white and blue with no adjustability.

I also use the blue reef brites regular for supplemental blues in addition to mostly halide and vho actinics. They give a nice color highlgits.
