Reef dynamics bio pellet reactor problem

I came home to a flood due the top flange (transition piece in their diagram) that came apart. It was close to the edge of the sump, which explains the flood.

This would be a warning to other reefers,

I need advice on the repair. I assume pvc primer and glue is what is needed.

Thanks for your help.

since reef dynamics (formally Euroreef) is no longer in business. Yes, your only choice would be to do the repair yourself. That is if you want to continue using it. If not, I'm sure you could sell it in "for sale" section pretty fast. Lots of people love RDynamics products. And the bio pellet reactor was known as one of the best in the market.

He is setting back up to provide support from what I see. Look at his facebook page.

If it is acrylic you need weld on 16. If pvc to acrylic then weld on 16. Pvc to pvc if you can slip the fittings together then pvc glue, otherwise wo16
