Reef Keepers in Albuquerque?

Don't worry you won't crash my computer :) Send what you have. The video sounds pretty cool I'd like to take at look it. It will depend on how much server space and usage we have to use as far as whether or not I can put it on the web. I'll have to talk to Alex about it.

The other thing I'm not sure about since I just signed up yesterday is if I can get pics and stuff on here or if you need to send it to my regular email address. If so PM me and I'll get it to you. Thanks a bunch Can't wait to see the pics. Jen
 
Ive sent some pics as well with a short video of my xena pulsing... but nay wya back to my real post...I will likly be at White sands Missile Range on the 21st...so if we have the next meating on the 21st I will mostlikly not be there.

either date is good for me. I sent you pictures of the red bubble tip splitting hope you got them. feel free to edit any way you need. i like the new mexico reef club. It is simple and covers everything. maybe we could have two meetings since so many are split??
 
I've gotten all pictures on the site that have been sent to me. A schedule is there along with an agenda some other 'about' pages and what not. We're probably darn close to having our own site address and registering with MASNA.

I would lean against two meetings for a couple reasons: we would run out of hosts very quickly, planning for two meetings would be a lot of work, tracking attendance for membership cards and benefits could get more complicated than it has to be, and we'd run out of good topics and activities faster than we could create them. It sounds good in theory and it would be really nice if we could get together that often I forsee burnout though very quickly for all of us.

Let's nail down one of the days by the end of the week if we can so DBR can plan accordingly. I'd just say the 14th if I had to make an executive decision so we can maintain the 2nd week of the month schedule. Happy tanks to all - Mrs_W

thank you! It still needs background work and some tidyness but I'm glad the initial set up sits well with those who have looked at it. Looking forward to our next meeting. Eveybody have a safe and happy 4th.

Not sure if anyone else has T5's, but if you'd like to take a look at what I've got you're more than welcome to stop by (and since I'm not too far from you either ...) I've got the Sunlight Supply Maristar, so it's got 2 24W T5 bulbs in with the 250W MH.

Just noticed a small type o in my last post. Reefer/reefers may not be the best way to describe other tank heads like me.

We lost power last night for about 6 hours. West side around
paradise and universe. Looks like things are ok in both tanks.
I do not have a gen. or other ways to keep the pumps ect.
working. Talking the family into blowing bubbles in reef tanks

Hi All, I talked to DBR this AM; we are wondering if to many of us aren't going to make the meeting. My hubby is not going to make it and it sounded like only 2 confirmed. It feels like next week might be better..... If anyone is planning on attending tomorrow but hasn't contacted DBR to confirm yet please let him or myself know ASAP so we can decide whether or not to have the meeting. I'll check posts periodically all night. If not we'll re-schedule for next week if that's better or possibly skip this month due to summer vaca schedules.... Post your comments.....

Time? DBR I leave that in your hands since it's your house. 6 or 6:30 sounds good to me either way! thanks for bringing that up Moonpower I didn't even catch that we hadn't done that yet.

I put up a page on the web for a pic of the month contest and some pirates code guidelines for it as well as some other stuff I pulled from our conversation at the meeting. I wanted to let everyone know that I'd like to start it and will post pics you send me; but I won't set submission or voting rules in place until we have more pics and also a meeting to talk about it. So far the web has been populated for my visual aid. The pics I feel good about; that layout I'm happy with; and the text is very loose I really want this to be OUR club not mine and hubbies; but ALL of OURS so please read the web with a grain of salt; it's rough and things will change as we make decisions as a group. I'd also love to have some volunteers to offer suggestions and write articles for the beginners section. If you have experienced advice for beginners and would like to share it I'd like to post it.

It's been awesome to get all your emails of pics and support of the site; please don't hesitate to send suggested content to me; if you ask me or send it I'll build it......Keep them coming

Hey all,

Well I can make it to the meeting, but honestly, it will be easier to reschedule for next week. I JUST got back in town, and probibly have to hit dallas this weekend as well, so I have to prepare for that. (July is the only month of the year I travel, so hopefully this will be it.)

As for next week, I am availible anyday, anytime except Monday.

for dir. to my home. We are up on the west side at paradise
and universe. I have around 30 or 40 lbs of cured live rock
that needs a good home. T.B.S. live rock from the main tank.
