I went into the store yesterday afternoon and was so happy to see clean displays and healthy corals under adequate lighting. I've been to a bunch of LFSs in Broward and they all seem to look the same, algae in their systems or bleaching coral, flatworms on the glass, coral display tanks with inadequate lighting or flow etc. I was very impressed with ReefLife and I'll be by this Saturday for the grand opening and will join the club!!!

The point is if you look at the vote we already voted it one of our top 5 stores in the area. Secondly, before Diver before you jump on people kike Ludwigia or Pdavies, that are honest, and great reefers you need to learn more about them and stop being ignorant. For one I have personally seen that no one here judges anyone period. Thats the way it should be. THis thread isnt to flame this store, because flat out its one of the best. If you have a problem with it thats cool, but the fact still remains its one of the best. If you dont like what Im saying, you can speak on that too. Never been one to argue, but that doesnt mean I run away from it either.

The fact remains the store gives great service, has great stock and is improving everyday. I suggest you take a closer look, and get to know people, and even if you dont like the man dont judge him because its a family store and i for one prefer honesty vesus a thief if you know what i mean. If you dont like what Im saying I'll be there Saturday Look me up......

I agree and feel bad about what I had said in the past and feel it was not right. I judged to quickly and was fast to turn on someone. Now that I am begining to feel a little more comfortable here and begin to frequently talk to locals I prefer a tight group of people, even if we do have our own opinions and views some things we (I) should have kept to myself. I will be stopping by reef life Saturday to join the society, officially. I hope to see some other members there as well. I also hope to see everyone at the next meeting later this month, take care,

It is okay to voice yourself, but what you did was take an extra step over that line and that was what had set a lot of people off. You went and said go to a certain LFS and so on. (Not being mean like usual)

I guess I'm supposed to the the bigger person and pull the knife out of my back, forgive and forget? Uhhhmmmm.....Nope.

Just curious why you would want gift certificates for sick fish and sub par corals? You told your tale to other store owers who then used it in an effort to get one of my suppliers to sell to him instead of me. The owner asked my supplier "Why do you sell fish to Pat? He's a "fish killer". If that's not undermining and minding someone elses business then what is? Careful when you throw rocks they have a habit of bouncing back. Now, where do you think the source of that that came from? Do you think that you can go around and blatantly damage a stores good standing in the community and then when it looks like you can perhaps get something for free, you take a "I'm sorry, all is forgiven" attitude, and I'm supposed to shrug it off? That's not going to happen.

I would prefer to continue running my business without you as my customer. If you feel the need to join the club please do it elsewhere. In five years I have only banned 5 people from my shop and you are one of them. So, you managed to join a club for free after all.

See this all goes back to being careful what you put out into the world as it can do serious damage. I still vouch for Reef Life, and have since the first week they where in a new location. I waqs refered by people that dont even live in this town, by Sea In the City, one of the best Orlando LFS. Even if you dont like someone, dont damage the way they make money, keep that to yourself and your small circle. SImply put because it will come back and bite you sqaurely in the bum.

I just wanted to meet some other members since there was a membership drive at your store but I guess not. I guess I will meet them at the next frag swap.

Wait a minute.... the club swats frags? I'm not so sure I want to join a club that squishes corals. The idea is to propagate and preserve, not to cut off a chunk and smash it to get rid of your stress. That's not my sort of club at all!!!!

Honestly Pat, I think you are taking it out too hard on Ding2daDong. He has tried to redeem himself and seems to be willing to give Reef Life another chance to be his LFS. If I were in your position I would be trying to get as many customers as I can, speaking from an owners situation.

Some of the posts that you have posted seem to make you look like the bad guy and I think it would have been better to just not post at all. In fact, I get a vibe that others feel the same way and are not jumping into action to further help you out. 6 pages of nonsense, just let it die out or get it locked. I will be PMing a mod to lock this thread up, surprised no one else has done this...
