you can build your own filter you will need a huge amount gac though pm me i can give you some ideas . ive toyed with the idea of a sw pond may even still do it but winter is a killer

For filtration what if you had another pond with tons of chaeto growing. Kind of like a fuge and pond sump. I know that some fish farms that are on land use this method of filtration to keep their water clean and keep from polluting oceans/rivers etc.

How awesome!!!! In Binghamton, NY there is somewhat of a saltwater pond with some soft corals and gorgonians. It's very cool and different. Since i saw that one, i've been wanting to do something like that so bad!

I live in Maryland now, but I'm from Owego originally. Where is this saltwater pond? Never seen or heard of it before.

You could make a large acyrylic viewing platform that would float on top for clear images of the inhabitants.
