Reef safe fish that eats feather dusters.

I am looking for a fish to add to help me control my feather dusters that are taking over my tank, but wont nip at my corals or my clam.

Why would you want to. Featherdusters are harmless...

Some butterflies would eat them and probably your clam too. Like mentioned above unless they are truly plaguing your tank I would leave them

I know Copperbands will eat them, but they're not the easiest fish to keep.

They are growing over a hawaiian feather duster to the point that it cant retract into its tube

They ar plauging my tank. They are even starting to cover the sand bed. They have grown to thousands in a matter of months.

The tank is 150 gallon.

I have been feeding the same for a long time with no algae and good coral growth.

Not sure what you mean by the term "reef safe" is no good. When you research species compatibility "reef safe" is the most common termanology used.:hammer:

what foods do you feed?

I feed ocean nutrition prive feef flakes and rods about once a week or so. Alos feed dried sea weed (2"x2") everyday or every other day for the tangs.

they won't grow on healthy corals
tip:
go beyond what is common or you'll always end up with what's ordinary

research species. Leave "reef safe" for the masses.

Yes. It was one of my first inverts from when I started. It has survived my many mistakes since my starting this hobby. I think the picture of it in my avatar is 2 or 3 years old. It recently droped it crown when being over taken by the other dusters.

oh, that's good stuff. i actually trying to find a piece of rock like that to seed my sump. i used to have some in the dt but i think my banded shrimp(evil) eat it all.
