It is an fast growing Acropora sp. wich is no longer in the tank due to its overwhelming growth...

Filtration: I have one sump directly under the aquarium and a bigger sump beneath the house.
In the sump under the aquarium are live rocks and carbon/phosfat filter.:uhoh2:

Wow, you have a very clean build! What kind of Acropora is this one? Granulosa? Also loved the yellow deepwater Acro on post number 3.

Awesome Pics. Care to share additives/food you dose for your awesome coral color. Also tank #s...Alk, Ca, Mg, ....

Joe

I use the Balling method to maintain the Alk, Ca and Mg up to 8,5 - 430 - 1450.
Whithin this method trace elements such as iodine, strontium, borium and more are used.
It's a simple method in wich you give what your corals are asking, no more, no less.

Here's a video of my filtration beneath the house:

Thanks, it's not that simple to clean the rear glass: I do it once a week, first using filter wool to get rid of the algea and then I use a piece of plexi glass for the finishing touch.
But when the corals grow bigger it will become more difficult to reach all places.

The link towards the video seems not to work, here a working link: :bounce2:
