Reef wrasse recommendations?

I've been looking into getting a wrasse online with my lyretail anthias so I don't have to pay for shipping twice. I'd like one with a lot of pretty color and that's pretty laid back. Any suggestions? I'm thinking in a male Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse. Anyone have any input on those?

Thanks in advance!

I like the solarensis and if you're willing to drop some extra dough the flame wrasse is a great fish but that's also if you're tank is the right size of course.

Sorry I forgot to include that guys, it's a 75 gallon tank. 4 feet long.

So far I have:
1 Kole Tang
2 Occ. clowns
1 Barletts Amthias
1 Purple firefish
1 pink spotted watchmen goby
1 flame hawkish
1 blue green Chromis

The lyre tail plus the wrasse will be my last two additions

Pink Margin Fairy (C. rubrimarginatus) should do just fine in that tank. I would recommend you QT, and use an acclimation box upon adding the Wrasse. This will get it used to your tank before you set it free.

i have a Carpenter's flasher wrasse that i am quiet fond of. For his size he has a huge personality. gets along well with my yellow tang, lawnmower blenny, clowns, and mandarin too.

one thing to note, do you use a screen top? many wrasse tend to be jumpers, so having a tight fitting lid becomes strongly recommended.

My Macropharyngodon meleagris is beautiful, active, reef safe, and about as passive as can be. Doesn't get scared easily, but wouldn't hurt a fly.

In my 60 x 30 x 18, I have the following wrasses:
1 supermale flame to 3 female flames
2 leopard wrasses
1 black leopard
2 potters wrasses
1 labouti
1 lineatus
1 yellow Coris
1 filamentous wrasse

Haven't noticed any aggression but I do feed a little heavy.

And +1 on using an acclimation box when introducing new wrasses.

I've never been to Cali before nor due I have any plans to do so in the immediate future. However, IF I ever do I'm coming to your place to check out your tank. It's my idea of a perfect size and your tank inhabitants are most if not all of my favorite fish!

Thank you. I honestly lucked out on a lot of the fish I found. And even better they were all from lfs who I know and trust. And they were already qt ' for 5 weeks in their qt systems.

Are Leopard Wrasses hard to take care of? I love them, but I've heard a lot of horror stories about them dying.

i have 2 wrasses in my 75g, a yellow fin flasher wrasse and a red velvet fairy wrasse. both are very peaceful and very pretty. the flasher wrasse is super bold and often displays, especially at feeding time.

Hmmm should I do a Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse and a Lyretail Anthias or a Red Velvet Fairy Wrasse and a Lyretail Anthias? Any suggestions?

Leopards are great if you can find one that eats and get along with most other wrasses. My favorite are blue star and black leopard.
