do you have any info on them?

I was asking about more drivers per light so we can more control with an Apex, but they really didn't say much. I'm setting up in the next couple weeks, wish they could hurry up.

Hey guys,
Well, I have STILL BEEN CONTEMPLATING MY PURCHASE!!! I have narrowed it down to 2 fixtures:
1. The GHL Mitras for 999.00
2. Reefbreeders Photon 32
I have two clients running the reefbreeders units that I had them order. Both tanks are doing phenomenal!!! The Reefbreeders fixtures are hard to beat!
One of the reefs is a 5 foot 85 gallon running two value fixtures. The colors of the corals are nothing short of spectacular!!!! And that's with the basic fixture!!!
Green leathers, mushrooms, brains, etc. colors are excellent. And, that with the blues at 90 percent and the whites are 55. Those 2 photons have a lot more left in them.
And did I mention the tank top is completely covered!!!! She's getting 450 PAR about 8 inches below the water surface.
I think the Photon 32 would just be a blaster over my 36" tank!!!
I am leaning towards the reefbreeders...........

Does anyone know by chance if the Reefbreeders is color changeable in the 1/2 hour or 1 hour increments??? In other words, can you change the spectrum to a whiter daylight at high noon, then as it goes down it gets bluer???

you can change the programming in either 1/2 hour or hour increments.

Thanks buddy! I understand that. What I want to know is if the percentages can be change for each channel in each increment??
I am really hoping so! I want blue to start off in the morning, then slowly get whiter as high noon approaches!
Then for 3 hours I can bomb it, then start backing down and getting bluer as the day progresses.

I ordered my granite yesterday as well. Yes, I am going to have a granite countertop around the tank. It's a really nice swirling sandy look. Should look really good.
I am just waiting to see if they can get me a full 29" piece front to back. If not, I will go granite tile, but the same color.
Ha! Lots of work and money......

Hi guys,
I just confirmed you can change intensities of each channel per cycle! There's a great sunrise/sunset replication chart on the reefbreeders website.

This I feel will be a great starting point for me. And I can change out led's if I ever want and or need to.
Cannot wait to get this sucker next week to map out my tank with my Apogee PAR meter.
I really feel the full spread of led's across my tank is going to give me superb coverage compared to any other fixture that's using staggered pucks.
This is my first dive into LED. I have a feeling I am going to love it.

Here's a pic of the tank with the base on top! That will be the actual counter size. 11" from front of tank. Should be a nice size area. Next will be the door. If I have time, I will fab it up today. Got some molding on the front now too!

A couple of notes:

1. I have the older wavemaker. Do not let anyone tell you it's hard to set up! It was a piece of cake. And I have no auto adjustment on it! I could upgrade the controller but I like what I have. I has the photocell on it as well. So it shuts off when the lights kick off.
It's going to work out fantastic!

2. Super excited about the lights. Logan already emailed me a tracking number! Thanks again Logan for the EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Almost 30 years in the hobby, and I have always used Home Depot timers. Never had a controller like I am getting now.........WITH A REMOTE!!! I think it will be really handy to make adjustments from 5-10 feet away and get a really good look at things.
I was originally going to go with 2 250 watt metal halides. So this is going to save me big!!!
Logan, please ship me the model that gets closer to 240 watts...................LOL.
Granit will be in next week. I am getting closer. I may sell my Vortech and add one Tunze 6094 or is it 6095 w/ controller.
I am hoping I will be set then for flow. I may just keep the Vortech and use it as well. That thing has been rock solid for like 4 years! Never a single problem.
I cannot wait to get my lights and run it through the modes!!!!! Very nice.

Ok, got to mess with this thing a bit more after church and house cleaning. I am now getting a whopping 1.4 inch wave......................LOL.......THIS THING IS AWESOME!!!!! I don' tknow if it needs to go much more then this. Everything, I mean everything in the tank is rocking back and forth. I am not even sure I need another power head!!!! Maybe this and my 2 returns and it's good!

Happy to have finally made my decision and went for it. This will be my first LED fixture. Should be awesome!!!

I put granite on mine, gives stand a really nice look and easy to keep clean.

LOL!!!! Thanks! Please post lots! I really want every ones input. I am trying to make this as fun as possible. I am very excited to get the Photon 32. Its going to be a real blaster on my tank. Should be great for SPS.
I think the programming is going to be awesome. It even comes with moon lights as well. Should be really great!
I just could not justify spending 1000.00 for the Mitras. It would have been 570.00 more. I can buy a lot of SPS frags with 570.00.......

i would not have even put the mitras in my list. you should have been comparing the reef breeder units with the reef radiance. these are the 2 worth mentioning when thinking about buying l.e.d's...... supprised you didnt hold out for the super nova..:uhoh3:
