Reefish123 New 135G Build Thread

I would add some unions in on the plumbing think how big of a hassle it would be to replace your return pump if needed.

Thanks for the heads up, The pump has a threaded union where the return nozzle and the pump is at. All I need is a buy the same pump as a back up.

now that the tank is up and running I did unplug the return pump and experimented a sump close to flooding from reverse siphon. I wonder if they make check valves for pvc?

another quick update tank is WET although Im experimenting the same problem again with tank being off balance. before I put the water It was leveled perfect, now with water I noticed that the foam I put underneath is compressed more on one side than the other. I went with 1/2" foam. Do you guys think this is too thick? DANG!!!! SUCKS!!!

its probably off by 1/2". I will upload pics tomorrow so you guys can check it out.

I have also started playing with the apex, having afew issues since I not super geek savy but it is what it is. LOL

Oh rock is not here yet!!! I was hoping to have it by now hopefully I'll pick up some pieces from MAX.

Why even bother using foam? Just use some wood

another update, after the tank was off balance I had to drain it again, added a shim and did the trick. I didn't need to remove the foam after all. here are some pics.

thanks guys for checking it out still wating to hear back from cerameco, I was told I would get a picture update today, I call back tomorrow... Grrrr.....

FINALLY got the long awaited update from Cermaeco

here is what they got for me, its going to the oven this weekend...

aquascape was designed thinking in building mixed reef...

Uggghhh.... Im really fustrated right now, gees its 2am and Im thinking about my rock from Cerameco, WHAAAT????

Dont get me wrong I love what they have created for me cant wait to get this on my tank but they seem not to be in a hurry for nothing, It's been numerous calls and 2 emails requesting an invoice, Im trying to pay and they keep pushing back on me for some reason. I have tried really hard to be patient but I haven't been too successful, I ended up but Purple Reef rock at MAX(darn impulse buys) I know I wont be using this as my final plans basically i'll be selling it for pennies or trading, who knows.

Here is a list of livestock which included a pair of borbonious anthias unfortunately one night they decided to fight, one passed away... :(

Donis snowcasso x1
Clownfish Depot Dalmation percula x1
Earlei Wrasse pair ( comming this week, maybe)
Yellow tang
Blue spot jawfish
Banggai Cardinals x2
Borbonious anthias (maybe)

Not 100% final but this is what im aiming towards.

Goodnight guys/gals

Nice list

Maybe add some rhomboid and lineatus to the list.

I really like the rhomboid wrasse, dont know why I didnt remember those. Nicewrasse and PIA carry them in pairs or trios. Will see... I will proboably have to skip the borbonious anthias.

Lawrence do you think its possible to have a single borbonious? If so I'll end up keeping him.

Huge update today so about a week or so someone on the eastcoast was selling equipment and I was lucky to pick up the pair of tunze 6095's along with the VDM and cables. Lucky me I got them at a good price. Since i had free time today I
I decided to install the 2 AI lights and setup the powerheads.
Well while working on the install i broke the cable adjuster

There was no stopping me I decided to use a center pull braking pulley used for older generation bikes. Worked out just fine, not to mention i cut the 18" rail to 6" and drilled a hole.
