Hello all
I live in Viet Nam and keeping reefs is a popular hobby here. However; it seems as though there is not much thought given to longevity. For example, corals are thought to be expendible and many lps species sell for less than 1 US dollar. Common practice is to dispose of a coral after it no longer looks nice. There seems to be an abundance of Goniopera available. this is a difficult species. I would like to raise awareness here that these animals can be maintained and even propegated given the right circumstances. I don't even know where to start. Juvinile sea turtles are even on display at some shops.
Any suggestions on where to start?
Regards
Neil
