Hey Jeremy
I'm currently using a Reeflo Barrcuda for my return and it is dialed back quite a bit. I would like to replace it with something that uses less electricity. I'm trying to figure out if the Snapper Gold will do the trick. As of right now, the Barracuda is pumping water 7 feet up from the ground to a 3 inch manifold. From the manifold to my tank is 31 feet horizontally with another two feet vertically. There are 11, 90 degrees long sweep elbows in the 31 feet run. Do you think that the Snapper Gold could handle pushing water through my plumbing config? The only thing I have running off the manifold is a BRS full of carbon. My plans was to add another system to the manifold, but I don't think its going to happen. I might be willing to change the 1.5 pvc from the manifold to the tank too either 1 inch or 3/4 for the return.

It would most likely work, although what is the plumbing size fromt he sump to the pump? Is it possible to take this up to 2"?

Actually, I made a mistake and my return is a "REEFLO HAMMERHEAD". The plumbing between the sump and the pump is 2" reduced to 1.5...

Anyone else having trouble accessing their site today? For some reason I keep getting an error message.
