I decided on going with
Large lumenbright pendent
Lumentek 400W HQI ballast. I can choose 250W, 250W HQI, 400W, and 400W HQI. I have heard great things about this ballast. I realize I will have to replace the bulb every 7 months.
Sunlight adjustable hanging kit. Really nice to adjust.
I will be ordering tonight. I might be heading to the store tom to pick up another wrasse and some bangai cardinals.

I just ordered my lighting
-Lumentek 250w/400w HQI ballast. Just in case the 400w is to much
-400W Radium 20K bulb
-Lg lumenbright pendent
-Sunlight supply adjustable light hanger
-I talked to a couple of people and they all talked me into the 400W MH.

Thanks, not much to look at yet. Hopefully I will start getting some LPS and SPS in the next 2 to 3 months. I probably should wait longer.

Well today I got the burning desire to go to the fish store and I came back with a beautiful Hawaiian xmas wrasse. Her will be the largest fish in my tank. Here is some pics. I will post some pics later of him in the tank.

Didn't take long for him to find refuge in the sand.
I am really happy with its' color. Named him Maui since he is from Hawaii.

I am little worried now. I just realized that the pendent I ordered doesn't have a male connector to connect to the female ballast port. I am sure it is not hard, but I have never wired a fixture to a ballast before.

Thanks. Yeah when you think of a 30"X30" dimension, you really don't think it sounds that big. But when you see it in person, you realize how much that depth adds to teh tanks size.

Well I just got an email from aquarium specialty. I should be getting my radium bulb and hanging kit tom or Wednesday. I should get the lumentek and lumenbright later on the week. It is shipping from Tennessee

Update on the xmas wrasse. He came out a little bit yesterday, but has spent most of the time in the sand. I am not worried, most wrasses take a week to get adjusted.

I will be going back to the fish store later this week to get another fish.
Can't decide if I should get another lubok's or some bagai's. I keep putting the cardinals off. :sad1:
I really don't want to spend more then $40 on a fish until I get back from Colorodo. As soon as I get back I am going to get some clowns and a blue spot jawfish and some LPS and maybe a little bit of SPS. Then all the expensive wrasse and coral buying begins.....
