ReefSalts 265 gl Reef

there is lots of swimming room for the fish behind and around all the rock work. I am really going for a good all around circulation.

Hey N A,

I have seen them working on many reef tanks and they looked great so I was comfortable investing the money in them and have been burning them in with no probs. I like the controller unit mounting system cant get better and is probably the best out there as for mounting choices.

That being said they are strong with all channels at 100%. I am experiencing a slight disco ball effect, which is probably due to the heavy turbulance of my two T 6105, ESV ultra white coarse aragonite and the tank being empty at this time. I was a big XM 10K guy and these lights fit the bill perfectly.

Do you plan on adding anymore to the tank? How many can the controller operate at once?

No more rock all the space on the pillars is for 360 d, coral placement. I will have different species depending on lighting needs placed on the bottom.

The controller can control 16 modules at once and this is fantastic, I heard that there will be a wifi and or web based interface coming out in the near future and will be a really simple upgrade but not 100 % sure on that.:hmm3:

thanks guys, The P`s are sweet especially these units with the new locking device its easier and not prone to the problems I heard of with the first Gen (silver or black) units of the product.

@ Chriskk, lol... yeah I had quiet alot of growth while I was waiting to setup my Reef ,I used my kamoer doser to supply my iron, potasium ext, the plants really liked being fed stable amounts daily.

ok well here are some progress pics,

April

Thanks,

Yes I have a couple of lps in the shaded area`s but its going to be 95% SPS, I am waiting for a store to get their order in it will be a fast fill up since it will be about 25 SPS corals I have chosen and ordered.

Great looking tank.

Seems like there is lots of nice stores down your way. I might have to snoop around and see if some will ship out here to me.

carriej,

Yes there are some really nice stores out here ,one of the nicest ones I have had the pleasure to visit is Reef Solution Quebec in Quebec City.

In google maps they have a virtual tour that you can see the entire store when they first opened taken in the winter of 2012.

just go to google map and type:
Reef Solution Québec, 3095 Boulevard Wilfrid-Hamel, Québec, QC, Canada

Let me know if you have seen a store setup like this in Canada lol.

The reef tank in the virtual tour was lit at the time with Radions Gen1, since then they have yanked the Radions and have gone all Maxspect Razors.
