ReefSalts 265 gl Reef

Which pump do you use as a return to your main display from the sump? I am considering an upgrade to a 265, but am not sure which pump to pick as the return. Amazing tank!

Back from the dead !!

Back from the dead !!

Its been a while,
Update:
Back in 2009 while I was away on Business my Chiller failed and unfortunatly it was during a heat wave as you saw from the previous pictures the filtration was located in my Garage so with the MH running and the Heat my tank cooked:angryfire:

So I Stripped it down sold all my equipment and converted it to Fresh water.
Although freshwater is nice, I just just dont find myself mesmerized like my Reef would do.....SO

Since May I have been putting together my equipment list and I am starting the build same 265, but all equipment will be new, and all MaxSpect Mazzara P`s LED lighting. Trying to make this one as efficient as can be.

I will post update pictures its going to be a slow build due to time constraints but hopefully it will be ready by xmas.

Discus tank before tear down.

Ok this is what im going to use for the rock work.
Dollar store spoons they are thick enough to hold uprights well with glue.
4 tubes of Epoxy and one tube of mr stick`y underwater glue.
some ridged tubing and tools.

Forgot to mention the rocks are MARCO ROCK very nice stuff actually nicer that Carib Sea`s South Sea more holes which makes it lighter that is . I still used some south sea`s here.

NOTE: Do not try to drill Marco Rock with a masonry bit it will split in half or break apart easily, good thing i had lot of Glue.

Forgot to mention was going bare bottom but decided to go with ESV Ultra white Coarse sand instead just a bit for aesthetics .

this pic does not show the over hangs but it gives an idea between the previous pic and this one..
