Reefsavvy's Ghost Overflow: Patent Pending?

As far as the patents go, there are a lot of new things on this overflow that I haven't seen anywhere else, especially the magnetic weir cover. My bet is that they're patenting the unique things, not BA stuff.

You yourself refer the Ghost overflow and beananimal (see above)
By BA are you referring to the Bean Animal?
When you refer to "BA stuff" are you not yourself acknowledging that the inner technology to the Ghost overflow is BA stuff?

Now I can charge you my hourly rate for more of my interpretation of patent law and how it applies to this, but I doubt your parents would foot the bill.

Thank you for doing this for me. Your insults are actually just funny, mainly because they're so far off base. Not to mention, who resorts to name calling, anyway? Pretty low, in my opinion. I won't charge you for that one, though. I'm simply calling you out to back up what you claim. If you're going to freely give your opinion on a public forum, you should be prepared to back it up, and without charge.

Before you go barking at people, make sure your intelligent enough to know what you have written and are saying. Just because they have stopped using the technology now, does not excuse them from damages.

Is it just me or do some people not understand that the patent doesn't refer to the beananimal at all? It's just three holes that people choose to plumb that way. No one has ever claimed they were trying to patent that method of plumbing.

I don't think anyone knows what they are going to patent except the manufacture.

If we look at their early videos we can see they are marketing it with the BA. Is this a problem? I am not going into that.

So are they going to patent a plastic box with holes in it?

Actually, clay boa is what Reef Central uses to replace things they don't want to be shared on their forums. It wasn't your phone. That's why I said there are lots of clay boas on here... lots of things they autochange.

Got mine today. "Reef Savvy Ghost" is engraved on the inside of the front box (wet side) of the overflow. The return (from) address states;

Reef Saavy is contracting synergy to make them. So it's a reef saavy product.
