Refugiem questions...

I am planning to pipe a line out of my sump through a wall to garage and house a 30G refugiem in there. Sand LR and Chaeto in it. I am placing it high enough to gravity flow back into sump.

Questions: a standard 60-75 watt light is fine for chaeto?

How much GPH on the pump leading to fuge? will be about 4 feet of head, and 5 feet separate, probably 3/4 inch flexplumb.

Any forseeable problems with this setup?

id reccomend using a 500-600 gph pump. i reccomend using the little metal dome lights and the 32w compact flourescant coily screw in bulbs. works great for me.

You can buy 6500k screw in light bulbs at walmart for about 8 bucks for a 26watt.Ihave two on my fuge and it works great!!Just buy a couple of 4 dollar aluminum clamp light and whala.I think I spent $24 for 2 bulbs and 2 clamp fixtures.
