So I got a beautiful Red Sea Regal over the weekend. He acclimated without any difficulties and was doing fine in the QT tank. I offered him a frozen clam on a half shell but it showed no interest. No worries, I'll give it time. I decided to be a little proactive and dose some Prazipro. Then I was reading posts about the importance of a freshwater dip. I have some Paraguard on hand so I whipped up a batch and put him in the bath for 30 minutes. He didn't look too happy about it but I read that I should watch his breathing which seemed fine.
After transferring him back to the QT he is swimming erratically. I feel like something is wrong.
I will be so angry with myself if he doesn't pull through. This may be a case of less intervention on my part would have been more beneficial.
I'll try and post a video. If you have any ideas or a similar experience, I would love to hear it.
