You rallied a very smooth event Karl, nicely done. definite props to Karl for a well planned event and a great time overall :). Our "acquisitions" are floating in the sump currently, getting acclimated and awaiting their turn in the TMPCC dip :D
 
thanks karl! rachael and i had a blast and her tank is finally looking filled! i liked how low key the whole thing was and how easy going everyone was-- even the final 'free-for-all' went very well-- no crazy elbowing or running or anything! if only all the swaps could run so well! :)

I sincerely hope you all had a great time, enjoyed the food, and brought home something you really liked.

This was a gratifying experience for me personally, not only because we were able to bring so many reef aquarists together, or share hundreds of captive raised frags with each other, but we were able to raise $564.00 for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento.

....as I type this in CA gel encrusted fingers, breathing a sugh of relief having jsut finished dipping, moutning and placing all of the new frags into our prop tank, I didn't realize how many side trade we had until I started mouting them all :D, not to mention the great frags that we picked up from the swap. I echo the previous statement that all swap should be so good as this one was :D
 
based on the feedback, it sounds like the swap went well and everyone benefited in one way or another :) unfortunately for me, i couldn't make it (ugh...work) but maybe next time. kudos to karl for taking the lead on this and for anyone that volunteered :D

look forward to seeing some frags pics...

Pics, yes pics please! Especially of that big teal stag that I didn't get :) What's the story behind that piece anyway? Would the person who brought tell us a little about it?

great event! kudos to everybody that helped make it happen (especially you karl). it went very smooth and was a great atmosphere to meet alot of the local reef hobbyists. oh yeah, the steak sandwich was awesome! :D
 
What a first class event. Karl thanks for taking the time to plan and execute such a wonderful event, YOU ROCK. Also for those of you who had the Steak Sandwich...WOW...For the health nuts who chose chicken HAHAHAHA!!! Great group of people and a wonderful time....Wish they were all like that one....

Big props to Karl! You did a great job booking a place that was great to eat and had plenty of space. I enjoyed this swap as much if not more then any other! (all the prizes I won didn't hurt) I had a great time seeing everyone. It's been way too long since I have seen some of you! Can't wait until the next one!
