remember my anthias?

Remember how I had a thread about how I thought one of my anthias was not carberryi? http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2042468

Well, that one has died this morning :( He was just never eating well and always hiding. He would eat, but he had to inspect every piece of food before it went in his mouth. Most of the time the real carberryi anthias would steal it out from under him. Goes to show you when a fish says difficult, it means it. I just wish I had a choice in receiving him! Seems evansi are much more difficult to care for than carberryi.

Agreed. I am dealing with a similar situation. I ordered 5 evansi from LA, and one that came in is carberryi. She is much more active, eats well and does not hide. Evansi are OK, but she stands out from the crowd.

I didn't even have to contact you guys! I'll tell you Liveaquaria is the best company to work with! I just got a phone call regarding this issue, and I explained how the fish ended up dying because it was difficult to care for and would hardly eat anything. They refunded me for the fish! You are one amazing company and have a customer for life! If you were considering using liveaquaria, what are you waiting for? :D

The other 2 anthias, the carberryi are doing great and eating vigorously :)
