Clean your MJ Mods! I hadn't cleaned mine in 2 months and I was wondering why I started getting a little 2x2 patch of cyano and I figured it needed cleaning. This thing must've been performing at only 50%. :lol:

I cannot get mine to run right.. It keeps wanting to run backwards I have cleaned the pump, and even change the pumps out and it still does it..

Just put it on the other side of the tank..........

Lonnie...shave the prop a little. I have one that had that problem, a little prop work solved the problem. I think the high flow prop is pushing the limits of a maxi 1200.

Yeah that might help because it has gotten a little chewed up after hitting the peg.

I had that problem lonnie. I took out the peg and it works fine now.

my props chewed up too from the stopper

I don't use a stopper, I saw no reason to and still don't.

What happens when it runs back wards?

it only does it on startup, if it is running backwards I unplug it and plug it back in, no problem.

That is all mine wants to do is run backwards.. It will run right for about 5 mins after that it turns around and runs the other way by itself.

Do you guys have a washer on yours between the base and tube that the prop is connected to?

Yes, it helps cut down on the friction.

I just put my hand in front of it to make it change direction. :lol:

if it doesn't work with the stopper lonnie, what's it going to hurt to run it without the stopper?

I use my hand too. If you do a WWF ear pop move on it the suction kicks it the other way. Sometimes it stops it and it takes another "ear pop". Then other times I sit there and it seems to take forever to get it going correct.
