Removing LTA

I have two saddlebacks ,four years and they are both still male? They have had thier LTA all that time, he is about 16" across now when fully opened, and taking over my tank, What will happen if I remove it from the saddlebacks please? Thanks for your help.

I would be very surprised and pretty much doubt both are still male, not sure what makes you suspect that.
As for nem removal, nothing will happen, clowns may just look a little lost till they find something new or new area to hang out.

Well, from what I was told, when one switches to female its lips will turn blue?

I don't think saddlebacks get blue lips. I also agree with Dave that after four years together, one of them is female. Is one bigger than the other?

It's been so long since I've had saddlebacks I can't recall a color change like that, but typically w/in a year of having a pair they will have sorted things out.
Pretty much always one will begin to grow larger than the other, that would be the female.
No sign of spawning?
