Replacement power source for Osmolator

Hello,

My transformer box which plugs into the wall outlet does not seem to work anymore. It might have gotten wet. The "power" light on it does not light up. I plugged a 6v transformer into the osmolator and it lit some lights up but was not strong enough to move the pump. Is there a way I can order a replacement power source for the unit?

LobsterOfJustice,

You can purchase a new power supply from a Tunze reseller part number 5012.01

Graeme

"tunze reseller" is an authorized dealer. I belive the transformer is 9v, but I'm not at home to double check.

If someone chimes in with the correct v and mA, then you could pick one up at Fry's or RadioShack. Keep the plug, just splice the wires.

It is an 800mA 9V tip positive transformer, the tip is a standard 2.5 by 5mm

You can order this part on tunze.com as well, it is however a standard power supply you could get a local electronics store.

the AC adapter for the Osmolator 3155 is Tunze part 5012.01

For some reason, it's not on Tunze's website as an orderable part.

But you CAN special order it through Premium Aquatics: link

We have them in stock here, I will check into why the website doesn't let you order one. You can call me next week- 512-833-7546 and we can get one shipped out.
