Rescued a Niger Triger; Fungus?

Rescued this from a store. Need help diagnosing... Hoping the photo helps. Currently in quarantine tank, hypo salinity with just using herbal immunity boost.

Is it an actual growth or does it look like the skin is peeling?

Also, are the eyes cloudy? Or is that just a trick of the camera?

Looks like it's eating into the skin, the right eye is cloudy, left is not.
