Return Hose - Pump Side? Help?

Okay so I have setup my Sump and plumbing everything is good to go for testing....

My question is I have barbed fitting that came with my pump and 1inch nylon braided hose but since it is going to be submerged what type of clamp to I use? I don't want to soley rely on the barbed fitting....can I just use a stainless steel clamp like I am everywhere else or can I cement it like PVC parts?

I've used zip ties in the past. You can also buy plastic hose clamps at some LFS and online.

I don't know how well PVC glue will bond with the nylon hose, but I suspect not well.

Don't use stainless steel clamps. They will likely corrode and leach who knows what into the tank.

I've used zip ties and those plastic clamps to. The zip ties work great, the plastic clamps not so much.
