Return Pump at 800GPH/4' head

I am getting tired of the "hhhhmmmmnnggg" noice that my RIO pump is generating and I ma ready to replace it.

I need a pump that would circulate water at around 800GPH at 4' head, quiet, and consume less power.

I am looking at buying either a Mag950, Eheim 1262, Sen 900 or Ocean Runner 3500 /3700. Which one would you recommend?

I'm in a similar boat from what I've been reading the eheim has the best rep, also most $ by a little.

I have the Eheim 1262 and it works great. I little more than some, but so far it has definitely been worth it...IMO

I have a dolphin DP-800 but they also have a higher output pump that may suite you. It's cheaper than any of the pumps you listed. Do a search here and you'll find that most people are happy with them.

Hi dupong,

The Eheim is a great pump, albeit just a little more pricey than the others. The next best option would be the Sen900. It is an extremely strong pump (much stronger than the Mag), quiet, efficient, and has a great track record!
