There is supposedly only one known speciman in captivity in Japan and no one is collecting them at this time.

Genicanthus personatus - Hawaiian deepwater endemic. Not as rare as the Peppermint angel, but might as well be. This is a female.

Chaetodontoplus conspicillatus - another rare fish, very spendy, but less than the Peppermint or the Personatus.

Sorry for the lack of updates, been nuts lately.
A few things have changed - I decided to put up a small tank in the bedroom. Surprisingly, the Mrs loves the idea. My 4 month old absolutely LOVES looking at the tank, so now he'll have a tank to look at by the crib.
I'm not exactly sure what's going in there - probably treatment/holding tank for SPS coming in - and some rare LPS/Zoas that I want backups on. This week my controller (no, I can't afford another BII ) and 6055 come in - should be a sweet tank once its done. I keep hearing Elos is going to release a nano - and I'll probably replace this tank with that - when it is released.
Its kinda ghetto with that light - but it really looks nice in the corner
The stand is actually kinda nice - its 36" tall. The tank has an overflow but I'm not going to run a sump. It's just a surface skimmer and I can put my heater/carbon/etc in there.
I love the Geotronics - so I'll probably use this to heat/cool it.

And now back to the Large Tank updates ....
I have been out of the zoa craze for awhile - but there are some REALLY cool ones out there now! I decided I want about 10 or so in the 210 - so I went a little crazy and got just about every rare one out there. I'm still deciding on which I will keep but here are a couple favorites
This one's probably my favorite. I have a few "candy apples" but this one is special - the red around the green GLOWS. I love it
And I love Japanese/Aussie Lords - and piled a bunch on this rock. This is about 2/3's of the collection. The rock looks really cool - I think I'm going to incorporate some shelves in the 210 and mount some of these on the rock to encrust. This looks hodgepodge, I'll try to make it look more natural.

Yeah man thats probably my favorite Lord. I've never seen another like it. Got it from fragglereef quite awhile back.
I'm also in the market for an Interruptus or two - I saw that justrarefish has them, but the timing is probably off for me now. I'd really LOVE to get some from RCT - but obviously thats a crapshoot - and a ways off. I'm gonna be very selective if I get a wild pair, but if ANYONE knows of any captive raised - PLEASE let me know.
I can't believe I didn't drive up to The Bay when Sang took his tank down. 
Probably better cuz he'd be bugging me for them back now. :lol:

Sorry man, I'm in such flux I just hate posting pictures. I just picked up a bunch of LR yesterday though, and tomorrow the rest of my nano equipment gets here. So I'm really hoping this weekend I can get the 210 done!
Edward - I love them. Someone said it looks like I poured a big bag of Skittles in my tank. Its not as easy as SPS incorporating them into the aquascape, but definitely possible. Just 4 or 5 really nice ones add something really cool to the tank. The polyps are BIG and FAT and ripple really nicely with the flow - I'd definitely recommend a few!
And yup - I heard the same thing, I'm hoping the nano is released soon. I just ordered a Ocean Geotronic 300 because I'm not sure of the size. If its too small, I might just get a System 70, and this should cover it.
