Thank you RN! I really appreciate your kind comments! Your tank is going to spectacular jugging by how you're going about it! Can't wait to see it develop and you can ask as many questions as yo like!
I am still using Ozone.. I think that it is a great aide in helping to keeping fish healthy and the overall system through its effects on free floating radicals; especially when you don't have the best quarantine practices like me.. I believe my unit is a 200mg/hr ... I usually leave it between 50 and 60 percent of full strength 24/7. Although I'm not using Prodibio, I do carbon dose via Vodka or Vinegar and sometimes a mix of both. So the premise is the same. I have not found any negative effect of using Ozone on carbon dosing. What I will do, is turn the Ozone off when I am dosing a live bacteria and give it time to settle.. I have read a few articles that state that the lion-share of the cacteria in our systems in NOT in the water column, but in the rocks and substrate. So this should lower any concern about destroying the bacteria in our systems by using Ozone... Also remember, Ozone has a very short life of only a few seconds in saltwater. By the time water that has come in contact with the ozone is back in your display, the O3 has done it's job already and dissipated...
I hope that addresses your concerns
