Rhinopias Prices?

Hey a lfs near me has a gorgeous red rhinopias for 199 dollars. He is about 5 inches long and pretty fat. Is this a good deal I was thinking about buying it and keeping him in a 40 br. Then maybe reselling him. here is a crappy cell phone pic.

Yes, I'd buy it! Looks like a nicely colored fish.

Pretty good price as they where about twice that not to long ago but as more and more are starting to show up the prices have started to drop.

Good price - have them feed him first.

good price- outstanding, it looks to be either a R frondosa or RE aphanes.
Be aware that you will be feeding this fish small live damsels or other Sw feeders (Sw ghost shrimp if you can get them). They are very difficult to wean over to frozen foods.
Lastly, rhinopias are a short lived fish, current estimates of 3 yrs max are found in the literature

the cheapest i have seen the frillies whole sale lately is 600, someone messed up when they priced that fish, snatch him quick!

i think that Leaf fish are an awesome alternative to Rhinopias.... they look very similar and at tops cost $45 ...i got both of mine for $30each....
