i think the reason why is because they are a lot harder to keep than volitans? i only paid $20 for that little guy at my lfs and they tend to get one weekly.

The stores I've visited carry a lot more than volitans (fu lions included, which are hard to acclimate as well), but antennata and radiata have disappeared. I remember they used to be common. Enjoy your little guy.

P. antennata and especially P. radiata are notoriously poor shippers. Most radiata are Red Sea fishes, and they apparently don't make that trip super well.

thanks man im looking to add a red frondosa in the future, but they are so hard to find! As for the price tag, i paid pretty close to nothing because my lfs was trying to move it out fast.($190):thumbsup:
