Hi Richard I dont expect you to remeber me but i spoke with u last month.. I am moving in august and have a 10 month old reef tank with 50 lbs of lr (Fuji) and would like to order about 30-35lbs from u. Here is my question. With my current setup (ie) 2 corals (bubble and leather)and a BTA 1 clown 3 chromis and a cleaner wrasse all which will probly stay with lsf or in another tank what would the new rock due to the current system. I am aiming at about 10 days for eveything to settle down. What r ur thoughts

Thanks in advance

PS if anybody care to ans please do so

FWIW I believe (could be wrong) that Richard is in the Keys for a few days based on one of the earlier posts. I'm afraid I have no insights to your question.

I'll take a two cent swing at this... New rock is going to tax a cycled tank that is going to take a thrashing, might want to wait for everything to settle down after the move, then get the rock, and finally put the critters back in after the mini-cycles are done.

I speak from experience when I say time and patience are rule #1 when it comes to tbs... well, that and do enough water changes to keep your ammonia under 1.0 or the fertilizer will hit the air movement device. Follow me?
