Richard...water parameters still Ok-Should I ever do a water change?

First shipment went in last Thursday night. Despite my unintended "additive" :eek2: everything has proceeded just fine. My ammonia has never reached 0.25 and has been holding at 0.1 for a couple of days. Nitrites maxed at about 0.3, and are now about 0.2. Nitrates are bewteen 5 and 10. Since I never had any type of ammonia spike, I've done no water changes. I understand that doing so would lengthen the cycle. But does there come a point that I'd want to do one anyway, even a small one? How long should I go, assuming that my water parameters remain good?

change no water unless the ammonia goes over 1ppm..
