I've been contemplating on dosing strontium
how long have u been doing and how much?
And have u noticed any diffrence ? Thanks

I make a gallon jug with 2 cups of strontium chloride. I dose 100mL every two weeks. I have noticed an increase in coralline algae with strontium but no effect on coral.
 
Thanks everyone, I look out all of the sand over a period of three weeks and removed my acans from the rocks. I have them on the bare bottom with the vision of them growing out and completely covering the bottom.
 
I removed both Ecotech Vortech MP-40w's and replaced them with one Jebao WP-60 and all I can say is WOW! The Vortech's were too noisy and I have sent them back twice for repair but I finally threw in the towel with these pumps and gave the Jebao a try. The flow from one WP-60 is better than both MP-40's and the wave setting on the Jebao is superb, I could never create a wave in my 120 gallon with two MP-40's no matter what I tried. I purchased two Jebao WP-60's but one is more than enough for my tank needs, the second one will be my backup :) The Jebao is more quiet than the Vortech but it also takes up much more real estate in the tank.

Hi Ricky beautiful tank my friend where do you get those nice corals from do you get it locally there or order by mail ?

thanks you for sharing all the beautiful pics. on your Jebao what do you have it set at I have set mine at W1 S1 as I just got my Jebao i have two of the WP-40 and I'm still playing with the settings to fine tune it

Thank you, 90% of the corals are from online. The pump on the left is set to H2, S1. The pump on the right is set to W1, S2.
 
Hey Rick it was nice meeting you last night and thanks for the extra frags. I got home and acclimated and dipped that and their polypls were all out within 30 minutes of being in NY tank. Your tank looked great. Hope mine comes along as quickly.

In this tank Ricky started with sand and his tank is now bare bottomed.

I believe it was his previous tank that started BB and then went to sanded.
