Ricordea Mushroom question..

I recieved a pair of Ricordea Mushrooms earlier today. They weren't attached to the plug or anything, just loose in the bag.

I used a drop or two of superglue to it to a rock, thinking its like other corals.

Later on, I came upon a thread saying not to use superglue, but to confine it in a small cup with rubbed or whatever you want it to attach to.

Did I just kill my mushroom with the glue?

probably not, but possible if too much glue was applied... I have a spot in my sump with a small container(near fuge light) with rock rubble in it, I put my ric frags in there until they attach to some rubble and then glue the rubble rock to the desired location....
