It's amazing how you can look at your livestock so much that you do not noticed them growing. Today I was going through some old photos and found one of my red carpet anemone a few weeks after I go him about 5 months ago. The haddoni carpet anemones really are as fast growing as everyone says they are.

The below pic was taken sometime around the end of June / July. When this pic was taken, he was attached to a rock the was just below the sand.

The below three were taken today. The anemone has since moved from the rock he attached to and is now firmly attached to the bottom pain of glass. He has close to doubled in size in about 5 months. I've only been feeding him twice a week to boot.

Pretty soon he will be big enough to fill that whole corner of the tank. The color difference in the before and after pics are due to using two different cameras. The anemone has not changed color as far as I can tell

when i look at a pair of clowns that i raised. i think to myself, they were the size of a flea when they were hatched.

Thanks guys

Looks happy , good pics. What do you feed him?

I feed him small pcs of: shrimp, scallops, and mussels. I just buy this stuff from the seafood counter at the store, cut it into small pcs (about 1/4" to 1/2" cubes), and freeze it untill feeding time.
