Im not sure yet, Other than like Glasscages, i havnt found anything to start comparing prices to.

Glass cages will be your best bet , unless you get an acrylic tank you are looking at around 800-1200 shipping has a lot to do with it considering how much some of these companies charge to ship .

( most of them charge a nice 150 dollar handling fee )

How does everyone feel about glasscages?

They are not nice people . Their tanks are "ok" ive seen positives and negatives from them. But you cannot really beat the price .

Thanks! I'll have a few questions for you when I start my Miracles tank next. It's pretty similar to yours ... same sides starfire, corner overflow in the same corner, but my dimensions are 42x30x20.

No problem. Hop into my thread and ask away. :D

I wanted to get the same size as you had ordered but I ended up changing my mind at the last minute. I figure I will be getting back into large reef tanks when I finish school(for the 2nd time :rolleye1: ) and move into a larger home. Im still in my mid 20's so hopefully I will have bigger and nicer things to come. :D

Ahh yes, you are still a young pup with plenty of time for bigger and better tanks! ;)

Can i ask how they are not nice?

Do not want to change subject here but because of the mass amounts of sales they do . dont expect some stellar service .. I called awhile back before going to AO to build my tank and asked "I need this built" gave the lady the dem's then I said low iron glass . She goes "we dont have any try again next month *click*"

You can search around and see how their customer service is awful but their tanks are decent but its not going to be an age or miracles elos , ao ,etc

Thanks Versus, i wasnt trying to get off topic either just wanted some good info about all these great tanks.

No problem , really a lot of us just end up saying "screw it" and get what we can ( some of us have to save up heh ) and get high end stuff ...

because after awhile you start to realize even though prices on some of the equipment is so overly inflated there are upper range items that dont have to be a gazillion dollars.

I would reccomend saving up for an elos setup , I tried to do one just "cheaper" so i thought and now im at 1500 over what i could of purchased a system 70 for .
