Can we have our own forum?

The Rimless Aquarium Club thread has been split 4 times. It is rather hard to follow along.

Clowns and anemo"knees" have their own forum..

Heres my 12x12x12 cube with Starphire glass, about 7 gallons of volumn. Currently looking extremely jerry rigged because the DeepBlue Professional SolarFlare mini the seller threw in for free is terrible. Only about 4 watts of light, 10 10k white 2 blue. Its being supplemented with a 12 watt 50/50 bulb from petco I had laying around until I decide what I want to use for lighting. Using a 50 watt Aqueon heater and a Rio+ 50 powerhead. Its been set up for about 3 months.

Here is a pic from when I set it up taken at night.

Hi all. So I've made the decision to go with a rimless tank for my next build. I would like a tank about 60" in length. Does anyone know any builders in California or any reputable builders in the US at all so I can start inquiring? Also, are there any non-custom rimless tanks in the 120-150 gallon range? Thanks in advance!

I guess I can join the club now. I just picked up 6 rimless, drilled w/ bulkheads and painted backs 40g breeders for $60 :)

Spectacular colors!

Spectacular colors!

I think I finally have a tank worthy of posting. I had a cheap nondrilled tank made by AGA for a while and wanted a rimless after reading through this thread. I moved from CA to Singapore so I figured it was a good time for a new tank since I was starting over. I found a local builder, Aquarium Artist, and had a 4 x 2 x 2 foot tank built with three sides low iron glass (they don't call it starphire over here), with an internal overflow and black silicone. Really pleased with how it turned out.

Great tank. Hoping to get similar color out of my AI Sol Blues!

Man, this thread is awesome! Anyone knows someone selling rimless tanks here in SoCal? Planning to upgrade soon so I can join too. Your help will be appreciated. Thank you!

I would think it would be harder to find a tank with a rim in SoCal. There must be 200 LFS all of which are likely better than the one LFS in my state.

I know that there are a couple manufacturers too, Leemar does nice work.

Does anyone have a deep blue professional 75 rimless, and are useing a mp40w es.I have my vortech set at 3/8'' and was wanting to know if this is the correct thickness.

Newly done over deep blue 30g rimless. 4 way ocean motion closed loop..
