Rio 6HF in the Biocube 29G

Is it just me or is the rio like 5 -10 times as loud as the stock pump? Mine makes a loud buzzing noise. Do you think i got a bad one? Thanks

The Seio have worked well for me, but the regular Rio's have all been bad; I purchased 25 of varying models and each one burnt out in less than a year.
Even the free replacements burnt out.

Rio's suck. They also have the tendancy to burn up and destroy your tank. I'd look for a better pump.

anyone have any better experience with a higher flow pump that fits in the bio cube 29?
