Rise Bubble Tip sucked into sump

My favorite RBT anemone disappeared two days ago and I assumed he crawled under a rock. Little did I know, he climbed/got sucked into the overflow and was pushed into the sump. It was a long route and it banged him up pretty bad. There was tissue left on the filter sock he was stuck in and he's curled up and about 1/4 his original size. Please Excuse the picture below, I'll try to post another one tomorrow. Does anyone have advice for what I can do to increase he chances of him surviving? I've thought about dipping him in iodine or cutting off the torn tissue but wanted to check with the RC crowd first. I have in a low flow area and will hopefully see some improvement in the morning.

BTA are very hardy. IMO, water changes, appropriate lighting for it, feeding mysis if it will eat,
and keeping your parameters stable will be your best bet. Should show signs of healing within a few days and possibly a total heal within a month.

Good luck.

I've seen bta's in worse shape posted here on RC

The RBT crawled to the back of the tank under a rock and seems to be recovering, little feller is pretty tough. He was also super stressed by some rough clownfish.

I've been trying to keep water conditions super clean but it's hard because I have multiple large inverts (mantis shrimp and brittle/serpent stars, urchins etc.) I'm trying to keep healthy and seem to benefit from mess feeding.

Here's a pic

The anemone looks good from what that picture shows. Didn't lose color and looks like you are doing a fine job. Thanks for the update

Thanks for your help! I'm not normally attached to my reef inhabitants but I have a special place in my heart for the little guy. I've always hoped he'd split but he keeps getting bigger and bigger.
