Ritteri bud

I just got on of reefhotspots purple footed ritteri's from them today. After it settled in I was looking at it and it looks like it has a bud starting to form on the side of its foot. Now I know I have read about them starting to bud off and then dieing off on poeple. My question is how offen do that happen and if anyone has had this happen please let me know. But other than that I would have to say that this is the best ritteri that I have ever gotten. Not one bit of bleaching on it. Really nice dark colors to it. Its very sticky and attached to the rock piller that I made for it as soon as it touched it. I even seen it grab up some food that was floating in the water from feeding the fish. It ate it and in a matter of seconds and never spit it out. So anyways I will let the arguement begin.

You know we need a picture, right?

I believe the "bud" is irrelevant to the survival of the anemone. It was probably caused by a wound that has healed, or a genetic defect. Host species are not known to reproduce through budding, like some other anemones.
