RMS XR30 Tank Mount

I didn't tighten the cords but tonight when I get home I'll take a look if I'll be able to tighten it without pulling too much, I wouldn't want to damage the connection. It's funny because I too thought that there should be a slot cut out. I initially ran it the way you did, but I ended up routing it to where I had to run it up the back of one space loop it around the front and back down a second space. Hard to explain, I'll take a pic and post tonight to show. Thanks for the reply.

No problem, "tighten" was probably a bad choice of a word to describe the topic. "Molding" the cord to run/lay where it is more hidden is probably a better way to describe it.

That's all it really needed, a little tightening. It hardly noticeable now.

Btw, this is what I was talking about in my previous post.

Agreed, I think there should be 2 pieces of that foam/rubber so you can cover both sides of the clamp. The directions are pretty bad, luckily it's not difficult to figure out. They also don't mention that piece of rubber that goes over the exposed screw on the clamp either.

I was having a problem with ESL and talked to Shaun via PM regarding that issue as well as the foam pad.

He said that he asked the customer service team and they said that it is a rubber gasket to go against the glass.

I tried following up regarding what side of the glass, and whether it was for all tank types, but I haven't heard back.

The one thing I do not like is the inability to raise the light. Mine sit about 8.25 above water. I'm new to this hobby, but it seems that the lights sit too close. I'm worried that I'll be bleaching my corals.

Then you use the controls that sets the intensity so you don't bleach your corals

I haven't messed with my Radions at all. I'm still going through my cycling process and haven't really bothered familiarizing myself with the lights since I don't have anything in the tank yet. I'll get on that tonight. Thanks!
