RO/DI + Cat = Sick Cat?

I was making some water to make salt water and I think my cat may have been drinking the RO/DI water for the last couple of days. Today she threw up all over my kitchen...

Could she have gotten sick from the RO/DI water?

i don't see how it could get sick from pure water...

Was it liquid puke or a hairball?

She also loves to pick on this thing my wife got recently. It's some kinda painted plant thing... I guess that thing might have to go?

Even I learn from my mistakes. Never again. Next time I need to buy water I'll just take a leak in the tank lol.

make sure when doing water changes or messing with Zoo's that the cat does not get a hold of any of that. Zoo's are highly poisonous and kill them very quickly.

She loves to sit in front of the tank and chase the fish...

Right after my closed loop reconstruction I will set up 2 40 gallon breeders for SW and RO/DI. The bucket thing is getting old quickly.
