RO/DI Gone wild

I change the DI 4 months ago. I didn't check my inline TDS meter for couple months, i assumed it is still good. I was freak out lastnight due to the number showed in my TDS meter. It was 75 . Glad i have new DI to replace them right away.

I am going to pick up some filter and DI stuff at Filter Direct. If anyone interested, please hit me up before 10am today. Cuz i have to go to work. Here is my number 714 254 5671. Pick up at my house only, no shipping.

Steve, it the TDS is that high, most likely there is a problem with the RO membrane.
Out of the RO, it should have TDS < 10

I just replace my DI and the TDS read 0. thanks god. I will replace the membrane this week along with all the filter.

You can buy bulk DI resin at resindepot if you want to refill yourself. If you are looking for filled cartridges, then locally filterdirect or online at airwaterice.

not to hijack, but is anyone else experiencing leaks in their fliterdirect rodi unit? mine is just spilling water all day

I've had problems with some cartridges types of cartridges. What color is it? The one I had leaked if it was not tight enough, but would have hairline cracks when too tight, and leak.
But they have good CS, and replaced the units.

I don't have any problem with leaking in my system. I will add another cartridge for the DI. Hopefully it will last longer.

Pookstreet, that is the one i use. the one you have to pack it yourself. Work very good for me .
