RO/DI Hot Water Accident

When i was making some water the other night i noticed my faucet was running hot water through my ro/di. I think i read that this can damage the seals and ruin the ro/di unit. Has this happened to anyone and did you notice any ill effects? I was running for 15-20 minutes before i noticed.

I have done it several times and I actually ran about 75 gallons one night with it on hot and everything is still fine with mine. I finally hooked it up the right way so I couldn't make that mistake again. I did not hurt anything and my tds is still 0.

How hot is hot?
Anything over 113 degrees can melt a membrane. Use your TDS meter and see if it had any negative effects. Also time your flows and see if they are still the same GPD rates.
