RO/DI performance

" ... and there's a T and check value before DI stages "

Does the check valve help with TDS creep?
The check value is there to keep from pushing the water in the pressure bladder tank through the DI cartridges.

He can probably bleed off the high TDS creep like I do. That way you do not push HI TDS through your MC and SB cartridges.
But there is that benefit too. I typically run the membrane for 10-15 minutes before I open up the valve on the DI output. Therefore the DI doesn't have to eat the TDS creep every start up.

K thx.

In Flag we have 150 tds.. so TDS creep isn't as big a problem as it would be in Phx. I really like my straight feed system (12v valve controlled on APEX), but the downside is its cycles numerous times per day which means the DI resins gets to deal with TDS creep.

If anyone has a clever way to make a bypass valve turn on for 1-2 min before the water goes to the DI chamber and then tank,, please let me know!
